EAP225-OUTDOOR is a wireless outdoor access point MU-MIMO, designed for outdoor use. It achieves wireless transmission speeds up to 1200Mbps, with 2x2 MIMO technology. Advanced Mesh technology allows for wireless connections between access points for a wider range, as well as flexibility of equipment placement and comfort of use. And with Seamless Roaming support, video streaming and voice calls are free of interference, even when users move around while doing so.
EAP Omada devices, with Mesh technology, automatically select the best route for your data transmission to quickly and conveniently extend the range of your wireless network.
If there is a connection problem on one of the devices, the system automatically redirects data to other Omada devices so that you never lose connection.
The EAP225-OUTDOOR access point has a high-power amplifier and a powerful antenna, which, combined with Wave 2 MU-MIMO 802.11ac of the latest generation, provides a huge range in both bands, with speeds reaching 1167 Mb/s.
Thanks to seamless 802.11k/802.11v technology, users automatically connect to the access point that provides the best quality of connection at the time. The client will not lose signal even for a moment, which is extremely important when using the interference-sensitive VoIP service or when holding a video conference.
The EAP225-OUTDOOR access point has a heavy-duty weather-proof housing designed for outdoor use. Thanks to the IP65 certificate obtained by the access point we have a guarantee that our access point will withstand even the harshest weather conditions.
A well thought-out design of the access point enclosure makes EAP225-OUTDOOR ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. Moreover, the device can be easily installed on a wall or on a pole, using the included mounting elements, which gives us the freedom to locate the equipment.

1.Plug the EAP to the router using an Ethernet cable and connect wireless devices to the EAP using the default SSID printed on the EAP device label. The default SSID for the EAP is: TP-Link_2.4GHz_XXXXXXXXXX or TP-Link_5GHz_XXXXXXXX.
Note: XXXXXXXX represents the last 6 characters of the MAC EAP address. A password is not required.
2.Start your web browser, enter the address: http://tplinkeap.net in the address bar and press the Enter key. Enter "admin". (lower case) for username and password.
