The EAP650 is the best roaming EAP access point today. The device supports the latest 802.11ax wireless protocol with MU-MIMO technology and easily achieves 2402 574Mbps dual-band Wi-Fi speeds for multiple devices at once, all thanks to the latest 4x4 MIMO technology.
The Omada Wi-Fi Access Point 6 supports the latest technologies, 802.11ax including 1024 QAM and Long OFDM Symbol, allowing EAP to increase overall data speeds. (2402 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and 574 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band). With 8 spatial streams, multi-user throughput is incredibly increased to support even more applications.
Omada's Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform integrates network devices including access points, switches and gateways. All this guarantees the creation of a powerful business network with higher performance, higher security and higher reliability.
802.11k/v roaming automatically switches clients to the access point with optimal signal, all with a smooth transition during the transfer. This allows for uninterrupted operation of sensitive applications such as VoIP and video conferencing.
The guest network provides secure access for users accessing the Wi-Fi network, and the access portal helps keep only authorized guests on the network. Adding SMS and Facebook authentication further simplifies the access portal to simplify connectivity and enhance business.
