The TP-Link T1600G-52PS Gigabit Switch features 48 10/100/1000 Mbps PoE ports, compliant with 802.3at/af standards, capable of delivering a total of 384 W of power. This combination allows you to power multiple wireless access points or IP cameras. It also has 4 Gigabit SFP slots for more versatile use in the network. The T1600G-PS switch provides high-quality performance, advanced QoS support, threat protection strategies, and Layer 2 network management features, making it ideal for small and medium-sized business networking applications. The TP-Link T1600G-52PS switch offers many security features, such as Storm Control, which protects against Broadcast, Multicast, and Unicast Storm effects. Support for Quality of Service (QoS, from L2 to L4) allows you to direct network traffic, ensuring smooth and faster data transmission. The switch can be managed via the command line or a user-friendly web-based interface, which together with the use of SNMP and RMON protocols and the Dual Image feature ensures easy installation and management without downtime. TP-LINK's T1600G-52PS is the ideal solution for connecting more devices that require Power over Ethernet cables.
To expand the number of possible applications, the T1600G-52PS switches are equipped with a variety of Layer 2 traffic management features that include 802.1Q VLAN support, port isolation, port mirroring, STP/ RSTP/ MSTP, port aggregation, and 802.3x flow control. The device is also equipped with numerous maintenance features such as loop back connection detection, cable diagnostics and IGMP snooping. IGMP snooping allows you to intelligently forward multicast streams only to specified clients, while IGMP throttling and IGMP filtering effectively restrict access to multicast transmissions for unauthorized users. The T1600G-52PS also supports L2 static routing, which allows for network segmentation and performance.
To enable simultaneous and smooth voice, video and data transmissions, the switch incorporates extensive QoS features. The administrator can prioritize based on 802.1P and DSCP protocols to ensure smooth data transmission. The T1600G-52PS supports multiple IPv6 features such as dual stack IPv4/IPv6, MLD Snooping, PMTU Discovery and IPv6 Neighbor Discovery.
