The managed T2600G-28MPS switch is equipped with 24 10/100/1000 Mbps PoE ports compliant with 802.3at/af standards, which are capable of delivering a total of 384 W. This solution allows to power access points or many IP cameras. The switch guarantees high quality operation, advanced QoS support, protection strategies, layer 2 network management and static routing. Thanks to the combination of all these functions, the managed switch is ideal for network applications in small and medium-sized companies.
The switch provides security features such as: IP-MAC-Port bindings, port protection, Storm Control, DHCP Snooping, which protect against ARP attacks, broadcast storm etc. The use of access control lists (ACL, L2 to L4) prevents access to specific network resources, denial of packets can be set for specific source or destination, MAC addresses, IP addresses, TCP/UDP ports and even VLAN identifiers. The device uses 802.1X encryption in combination with RADIUS server functions to authenticate users who want to access the network. For better audio, data, and video transmission in one network traffic, network administrators can prioritize individual IP addresses, MAC addresses, TCP/UDP ports, and so on. This ensures that audio and video transmission is smooth, clear and without delay.
The TP-Link TL-SG3424P switch supports Layer 2 functions, i.e. VLAN tagging (compliant with 802.1Q standard), Port Mirroring, support of STP/ RSTP/ MSTP, LACP, and data flow functions (compliant with 802.3x standard). The switch also provides advanced network security features such as feedback loop detection, cable diagnostics or IGMP Snooping.
The management of the switch is intuitive and can be done in several ways, for example through an intuitive graphical user interface in a web browser (GUI) or a command line interface (CLI). Packet transfer can be protected by SSL or SSH encryption. Support for SNMP (1 /2 /3) and RMON allows the switch to transmit relevant status information and capture unexpected events. It is ideal for ISPs due to the availability of useful features such as: OAM 802.3ah, sFlow, QinQ, ID Insertion PPPoE L2TP, IGMP authentication and many others.
