Energy efficient TP-Link TLSG1016D is a switch to support Gigabit Ethernet connection. All 16 ports have automatically cross-over MDI/MDIX function, so that quick installation is possible without having to check the type of cable used. The device operates on the basis of innovative Green TP-Link technology, which saves up to 15% of the energy used, while 80% of the materials used in the packaging are recyclable.
The Easy Smart switch TL-SG1016D 10/100/1000 Mbps provides a bandwidth that allows users, especially business users, to instantly transmit large files. The device supports jumbo frames up to 10 KB, which significantly increases the transmission speed of larger files, and the IEEE 802.3x flow control system for full duplex mode and backpressure function for half duplex mode ensures efficient operation. Both individual clients at home and users of workgroups in offices or production environments can now transfer bandwidth-intensive files without problems.
The TL-SG1016 switch uses Green TP-Link technology, which effectively increases network throughput while saving energy. The device automatically adjusts power consumption depending on connection status and cable length. The switch complies with the European Directive RoHS limiting the use of equipment made of environmentally hazardous materials.
The plug and play function allows a simple and seamless installation without any additional software. MDI/MDIX allows you to install the device without the use of crossover cables, and automatically negotiates connections detects on each port the speed of the connected device (10, 100 or 1000 Mb/s), providing the best transmission performance.

Duplex is the term for a call where it is possible to transmit and receive information in both directions. The transmitter and receiver can swap functions or perform these functions simultaneously.
We distinguish full duplex and half duplex
Duplex, full duplex - information is transmitted in both directions simultaneously, without any drop in transfer. Duplex is used e.g. in fixed, mobile and Ethernet telephony
.
Half duplex - a limited version of the duplex, in which the transmission and reception of information takes place alternately, causing a decrease in transmission speed. Halfduplex is used e.g. in CB radio or walkie-talkie.
