The Omada SDN platform integrates access points, switches and gateways to provide 100% centralized cloud management. Omada makes it easy to create a scalable network managed from a single interface and provides seamless wired and wireless connectivity, ideal for use in hotels, educational facilities, offices, etc.
The TL-SG2218 supports a wide range of features, enabling enterprises and ISPs to build a highly scalable, reliable and efficient network.
The TL-SG2218 features IP-MAC port-VID binding, as well as port security, network storm protection and DHCP Snooping to protect against many network attacks. A built-in list of common DoS attacks is also available to stop them. In addition, access control lists allow you to restrict access to important network resources by discarding packets based on MAC address, IP address, TCP/UDP ports and VLAD ID. In addition, the device supports 802.1X, which allows network clients to authenticate via RADIUS/Tacacs servers .
The TL-SG2218 supports a variety of features, including 802.1Q Tag VLAN, port mirroring, STP/RSTP/MSTP, LACP and 802.3x flow control. IGMP Snooping provides optimized multicast streaming to end users only, eliminating unnecessary traffic, while IGMP throttling and IGMP filtering monitors each user at the port level to prevent unauthorized multicast access. In addition, the TL-SG2218 supports static routing, which enables network segmentation through internal routing through the switch.
Voice and video traffic is serialized by IP address, MAC address, TCP port, UDP port and more. The QoS function ensures smooth operation of voice and video applications, even at low bandwidth.
The TL-SG2218 supports a number of features such as sFlow, QinQ, L2PT PPPoE ID Insertion and IGMP authentication. The 802.3ah OAM and DLDP protocols facilitate Ethernet monitoring and troubleshooting.
The TL-SG2218 supports many IPv6 features, including Dual IPv4/IPv6 Stack, MLD Snooping, IPv6 ACL, DHCPv6 Snooping, IPv6 Interface, PMTU Discovery, and IPv6 Neighbor Discovery, making the device ready for next-generation networks.
