The TP-Link TL-SG3428XMP Managed POE Switch features 24 Gigabit RJ-45 ports with PoE support . With an overall Swarm budget of 384 wat ts, it allocates up to 30 watts per port (802.3 af/at standards). On-board 10-gigabit SFP slots for stacking with fiber cable (SFP modules not included).
The switch supports standard management with SSLv3 or TLS1.2 secure encryption web-based user interface (GUI) and sshv1 and sshv2 secure command line interface (CLI) via telnet and microUSB and RJ-45 console ports. The TL-SG3428XMP 's high security is based on protection against DoS attacks, network attacks and storms, IP/IPv6-MAC port binding, access control by IP, MAC and Port, sending messages only to trusted ports (DHCP/DHCPv6 Snooping), etc. For network clients supporting 802.1x, authentication is done through RADIUS/Tacacs servers . For non-802.1x clients, some network resources are available through the guest VLAN.
