TL-SG5428 is designed for professional use and provides a wide range of Layer 2 management features . The switch ensures high productivity and allows even the most extreme nodes in the network to operate at maximum speed. The device can also be used as a backbone for Gigabit Ethernet switch and servers in small networks. In addition, TL-SG5428 is equipped with four slots to provide more flexibility in networking.
The Layer 2 managed switch has robust security and management features. Advanced access control list (ACL, L2 - L4) and built-in security features provide robust protection against electrical discharges, ARP and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. The data prioritization feature (QoS, L2 - L4) ensures efficient traffic utilization and faster data transmission without interruptions or delays. An easy-to-use web-based management interface, as well as CLI (command line), SNMP and RMON interfaces help you quickly configure the switch and save time.
TL-SG5428 supports standard user-familiar management methods that include an intuitive graphical web interface (GUI) and a standard command-line interface (CLI). Traffic protection is provided by SSL or SSH encryption. In addition, SNMP (v1 / 2/3) and RMON support allows the switch to collect information and send alerts in case of abnormalities. Access to this valuable information will save you time and money. For user services, link aggregation, virtual stack, highly intelligent and scalable topology are all available and can be used according to your requirements in building a single and flexible network.
IP Clustering allows up to 32 TL-SG5428 switches to be managed by a single IP, regardless of geographical locations. With all units identified by a single IP address, the stack could be configured, monitored, maintained as a single object.
The Access Control List (ACL, L2 - L4) function allows you to deny access to network resources at your discretion, filtering packets by MAC address, IP address, TCP / UDP port, and even source and destination VLAN IDs. This is a hardware-based feature, so switching throughput will not be degraded. In addition, the switch supports 802.1x authentication through a RADIUS server for authentication before allowing network access. The Guest VLAN feature allows unauthenticated 802.1X users to access specific network resources. IP-MAC-Port-VID binding, port protection function, network storm protection and DHCP snooping and IP address spoofing function to protect against broadcast storms, ARP attacks and more. You can choose to protect against common DoS attacks
