The TL-WR940N is a wireless router that works according to the N standard at speeds up to 450 Mb/s, allowing you to create wired and wireless network connections. The device is designed for small businesses and home use. The device uses 3T3R MIMO™ technology providing unprecedented transmission performance that enables smooth HD video transmission, VoIP communication and smooth operation of online games. On the stylish device casing there is a Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) function button, which allows you to activate a connection using WPA2 encryption mechanism to protect your network against external threats.
TL-WR940N is a high speed router operating in accordance with IEEE 802.11b/g/n standards. It works based on 802.11n technology, providing wireless connections with speeds up to 450 Mb/s. This allows it to easily meet the highest requirements of home users, providing smooth HD video transmission, constant access to online games and fast download of large files.
TL-WR940N from TP-Link can be used in router, access point or signal amplifier mode. You can easily create a private wireless network, turn a wired network into a wireless one or extend your Wi-Fi range.
Use the intuitive Tether application, to manage and configure your device in minutes. Thanks to the application you can do it via your smartphone or tablet with Android or iOS.

Step 1: Open your web browser, enter the IP address of the router into the address field (default value is 192.168.1.1). Then press Enter.
Step 2. To log in to the device's configuration page, enter your username and password (the default value in both fields is admin).
Step 3. Select Forwarding->Virtual Servers from the left-hand menu and then press Add New... .
Step 4. In the Service port field, enter the port type. In the IP Address field, enter your computer's IP address. From the Protocol drop-down list, select TCP, UDP or ALL. Change the status field to Enabled.
Step 5. To remember the settings, press the Save button and that's all..
