The EdgePoint EP-R8 Gigabit router features FiberProtect, which significantly reduces damage from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) and significantly improves the data signal quality for long-distance connections.
This single, compact device helps effectively avoid clutter from tangled cables. There is no need to buy expensive racks or pay for maintenance. The EdgePoint enclosure is resistant to harsh weather conditions, including wind, rain and snow. The included cover allows you to additionally protect your cables.
Powered by 54 V DC or via PoE, the EP-R8 is capable of powering 54 V or 24 V all Ubiquiti devices via PoE, including the airFiber and airMAX series.
The EdgePoint Gigabit router provides a graphical interface designed for convenience of use and configuration. Access through your network port and website. Intuitive device management is done through a virtual port view that displays physical connectivity, speed and status.
The CLI provides fast and flexible command line configuration and has a settings managemer and monitors all advanced features. It also includes direct access to standard Linux tools and shell commands and access to CLI via SSH, Telnet..
