GigaBeam Plus 60 GHz (GBE-Plus) - is a 60 GHz access point for low interference and high throughput long distance deployment, 60 GHz , 35 dBi, up to 1.5 Km, 1.5+ Gbps
The GBE-Plus can be used as a high-bandwidth PTP solution in WISP deployments. The access point has a rugged industrial grade enclosure for Outdoor use. The GBE-Plus achieves significant performance improvements with its integrated Cassegrain reflector design. The device can be easily configured and controlled using the UISP Control Panel and the UISP mobile app via Bluetooth.
This access point has a powerful Quad-Core ARM Cortex A7 PROCESSOR and 256 MB DDR3, which guarantees stable operation even under heavy loads. It operates GBE-Plus in the frequency range of 57,000-66,000 MHz, which is directly dependent on the norms of a specific region. Given the transmitter power of 17 dBm and the built-in 35 dBi antenna, it is possible to establish a connection over a distance of up to 1.5 km. Bidirectional throughput becomes 1.5+ Gbps. Configuration of the device is possible both via Ethernet (there is one RJ45 10/100/1000 Mbps port) and via Bluetooth. There is also 2400-2483.5 MHz radio control. GigaBeam Plus has sealed housing of quite small size, only Ø155 x 137 mm, and weighs about 1 kg. It is equipped with special bracket that ensures very easy installation, and also allows to adjust directionality of access point.
