Ubiquiti Rocket access points together with airMAX ac technology offer lower latency, high noise immunity, scalability and significantly increased performance.
The Ubiquiti airmax software with a custom chipset will greatly reduce TDMA delay and improve network scalability. The custom processor provides hardware acceleration of the airMAX planner to support high data rate and dense modulation used in airMAX ac technology.
Innovative airMAX ac antennas are characterized by significant advances in beam and energy insulation in order to increase throughput of the network.
Ubiquiti's airMAX technology has been tried and tested in millions of installations around the world, demonstrating exceptional performance in open environments. The TDMA airMAX protocol provides unprecedented scalability, high throughput and low latency in unlicensed, multipoint networks.
airOS 8 offers extensive functions, including operation of the airMAX ac protocol, real-time wireless signal analysis and a completely new design providing enhanced functionality.
airView allows to identify noise signatures and plan the network in such a way that minimize signal interference. airView performs the following functions:

Rocket5AC Lite is designed to be mounted directly on the Ubiquiti airMAX RocketDish™ antenna for point-to-point or on a sector airMAX antenna in point-multipoint.
1. Raise the release latch on the bottom of the case and pull it out. Remove the port cover.
2. Connect the Ethernet cable to the LAN port.
3. Put the port cover back on.
4. Connect the radio cables (included with the antenna) to the RP-SMA ports located on the top of the case.
5. Connect the socket to the antenna.
a. Adjust the mounting latches on the back of the case to match the four mounting sockets on the antenna.
b. Pull it down until it is fixed in place.
6. Attach the other end of antenna kables to the RF ports on the antenna.
7. Attach the protective cover.
