Access point UAP-AC-SHD UniFi - five units included

Power supplies are not included in the 5-Pack! Access point UAP-AC-SHD UniFi is a high performance access point, compliant with 802.11ac Wave2. Five units are included in the set. It has a dual-band antenna operating in 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. UniFi SHD AP is characterized by simultaneous dual-band 4x4 MU-MIMO technology and compatibility with 802.3at PoE+ standard. Install the UniFi SHD AP in high density environments that require maximum wireless performance.

Multiple UniFi Controller software functions

The UniFi controller can handle thousands of UniFi access points, map networks, quickly manage traffic in the system and add more UniFi access points. Use the UniFi SHD AP functionality to detect and troubleshoot nearby interference, analyze radio frequencies, select the optimal location of access points and configure settings.

MU-MIMO Wave 2 technology

The first version of 802.11ac Wave 1 SU-MIMO technology (Single-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output) allowed earlier generation access points, such as UniFi AC Pro AP, to communicate with only one client. 802.11ac Wave 2 MU-MIMO technology (Multi-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output) allows to communicate with many clients at the same time, which significantly increases bandwidth for many users and improves the comfort of network use. Assuming the same conditions, Wave 2 radio provides an improvement of up to 75% compared to Wave 1, increasing wireless performance and/or serving more clients at the same level of performance.
