The UniFi XG AP access point is a Gigabit access point for creating powerful networks, even for 1500 users. The Ubiquiti access point is another version of the device with excellent parameters, phenomenally efficient and perfectly cooperating with other UniFi devices. It is an ideal solution for very concentrated environments that require maximum wireless performance. Access point UniFi XG AP offers 4x4 MU-MIMO technology and PoE 802.3bt compatibility. The built-in, dedicated UniFi XG AP radio provides insight into installation performance, channel planning and local interference, allowing the integrator to properly assess performance and respond quickly to changing interference and security threats. MU-MIMO Wave 2 advantage

The initial 802.11ac Wave 1 SU-MIMO technology (Single-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output) allows earlier generation APs, such as UniFi AC Pro, to communicate with only one client at a time. 802.11ac Wave 2 MU-MIMO technology (Multi-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output) allows to communicate with many clients at the same time, which significantly increases bandwidth for a large number of users and improves the comfort of network use. Assuming the same conditions, Wave 2 radio provides a huge improvement of up to 75% compared to Wave 1. Such an improvement increases the efficiency of the wireless network and/or serves more clients at the same performance level.
