U-Cable-C6-CMR is a Category 6 UTP cable that supports speeds of up to 1 Gbps thanks to its 23 AWG stranded copper wire. The small conductor diameter combined with the cable's anti-interference divider isolates and protects signals from interference. The U-Cable-C6 cable is also a fire-rated CMR cable that provides safe operation over multiple floors and vertical shafts. Category 6 Ethernet connectors are recommended to accommodate cable size and optimize performance.
CMR (Communications Multipurpose Cable, Riser) cabling is fireproof and can be run vertically between floors in non-compensating areas. U-Cable-C6-CMR has a new CMR class (also called vertical), making it suitable for wall and other vertical applications.
