Ubiquiti USW-48-PoE

The USW-48-PoE (UniFi switch GEN2) is a configurable Gigabit Layer 2 switch with 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports, including 32 802.3at PoE auto-sensing ports and 4 SFP ports, that provides Gigabit PoE links to RJ45 Ethernet devices and Gigabit fiber uplink options to enterprise networks. The USW-48-PoE features a 1.3-inch LCM touchscreen providing status information. The compact, fanless design with a depth of 7.9" allows for quick and easy installation of the unit in a SOHO rack.

Management and configuration via UniFi network controller

Managed and configured by the UniFi Network Controller with support for UniFi mobile apps, the USW-48-POE switch offers a broad suite of advanced Layer 2 switching protocols and features, including mode (switching, mirroring or aggregate) per port. The UniFi Network Controller and mobile app allow administrators to configure and monitor virtually all switch functions in a graphical user interface from anywhere.

What is a switch?
