The UniFi® switch provides high performance with 6 independent switching ports. It offers four 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports with automatic 802.3bt PoE++ detection and (2) SFP+ ports offer optical connectivity. The UniFi® switch provides forwarding capability to simultaneously process traffic on all ports at linear speed without packet loss. Its auto-sensing PoE ports provide up to 60 watts of power per port.

In an effort to increase power to extend applications, the IEEE 802.3 standard is again required to upgrade PoE + to PoE ++ (IEEE 802.3bt standard) in 2018. According to this standard, PoE ++ technology has two types. One is called Type 3, which allows two or all four twisted pairs in a copper cable to deliver power at a PD of up to 51W; and the other is called Type 4 PoE, which has up to 71W at a PD of four twisted pairs of Ethernet cable.
