VOLT IPS 750/1000, 12 V inverter is designed to power electrical equipment that requires AC voltage of 230V via batteries. VOLT IPS is a very popular and well made universal inverter series, thanks to its simple design and low price the inverter is easily accessible to everyone. The device works in places where it is not possible to connect directly to the mains or during a power failure. Thanks to its compact size, the inverter can be used anywhere. In addition, the device is designed to be powered from a 12v. car cigarette lighter socket.
VOLT IPS series converters produce at the output so called modified sine wave. This is a square waveform alternating voltage which rms value is identical to the rms value of the sinusoidal waveform occurring in the power grid. The use of this method of voltage generation allows to significantly reduce the price and increase the reliability of the device.

To properly select the power of the inverter, it is necessary to correctly calculate the power demand, i.e. the total energy consumption. The power consumption should not exceed 85% of the maximum (continuous) power of the inverter.
To the inverter we can connect:
The voltage value in cars is:
passenger car: 12 V
truck: 12 V or 24 V (in most cases the cigarette lighter socket is marked accordingly).
