VOLT SINUS 2000, 12 V inverter is designed to power electrical equipment that requires AC voltage of 230 V through the batteries. VOLT SINUS is a very popular series of solidly constructed universal inverters. With a simple design and low price the device is easily accessible to everyone. It works everywhere where there is no possibility of direct connection to the power grid, and also during power failure. Compact size allows to use the inverter in any place. The device is also adapted to be powered from the 12 V car lighter socket.
VOLT SINUS series inverters produce at the output so called modified sine wave. This is a rectangular alternating voltage whose rms value is identical to the rms value of the sinusoidal waveform occurring in the power grid. The use of this method of voltage generation allows to significantly reduce the price and increase the reliability of the device.
Technical data | |
Total power | 2000 W |
Rated power | 1000 W |
Battery voltage | 12 V |
Input voltage | 11-15V |
Output voltage | 220-235V |
Output voltage frequency | 50Hz( -2Hz) |
Efficiency at full load | 92% |
Tripping threshold for undervoltage protection | 10.7V( -0.3V) |
Operating temperature | -10-40°C |

To properly select the power of the inverter, it is necessary to correctly calculate the power demand, i.e. the total energy consumption. The power consumption should not exceed 85% of the maximum (continuous) power of the inverter.
The voltage value in cars is:
passenger car: 12 V
truck: 12 V or 24 V (in most cases the cigarette lighter socket is marked accordingly).
