Our patch for LMS for Extralink 1GE ONU GPON VENUS
To meet the requirements of customers who build GPON networks based on ZTE OLTs and the LMS platform (Lan Management System), We have created a patch for the LMS to allow for the authorization, registration and management of the Extralink 1GE ONU GPON VENUS.
Extralink 1GE ONU GPON VENUS is a GPON-enabled client device. The device has one PON port and one Gigabit Ethernet port.
Extralink 1GE ONU GPON VENUS works in bridge mode and is fully compatible with IEE 802.3-2005 and GPON. The device can provide high-speed data transmission services for clients.
Those are some of the most important product features:
- 1x GPON port (uplink 1.25 Gbps / downlink 2.5 Gbps), 1x Gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mbps)
- IEEE 802.3ah compliant
- Support for Layer 2 switching
- 802.1Q VLAN and VLAN conversion support
- Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation (BDE)
- Quality of Service
- IGMP Snooping
- Auto-loop detect
- Power failure alarm
- 12V DC power supply
- Max power consumption 4W
LMS easily finds the ONU and allows it to remotely register and launch the service at the client's site.
Generally, the change involves correct decoding of the ONU's serial number.
All ONUs based on this method will be detected correctly.
The change process involves a few simple steps based on the checksum of the original file:
- If the checksum of the original file in a given installation matches then all you have to do is replace the file.
- If the checksum is different, you replace the file at your own risk...
- If you're afraid of do it yourself, you write to us and we'll try to fix it... ;-)
