The initial 802.11ac Wave 1 SU-MIMO technology (Single-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output) allows earlier generation APs, such as UniFi AC Pro, to communicate with only one client. 802.11ac Wave 2 MU-MIMO technology (Multi-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output) allows to communicate with many clients at the same time, which significantly increases the bandwidth for many users and improves the comfort of network use.
