MOULD KING 13181 Electric Pen Plotter is an advanced construction set that lets you build an electric machine for drawing on paper. The model consists of 3,088 pieces and combines the experience of building with watching the gears, guides and moving writing mechanism in action. Once assembled, the finished construction can produce programmed drawings, lettering and patterns, so it remains functional even after assembly is complete.

Once assembled, the plotter measures 51.3 cm in width, 45.5 cm in depth and 19.2 cm in height. The wide base creates a working space for a sheet of paper, while the extended frame supports the moving beam and the writing instrument holder. The model, which is over half a metre long, looks great on a desk, workbench or shelf intended for technical builds.

The set consists of 3,088 bricks forming the frame, guides, gears, drive mechanism and drawing head. Drive based on three motors

The movement of the mechanism is powered by three Xh motors working with the MKH4.0 power module. The system controls the movement of the head over the paper and the raising and lowering of the writing instrument. The visible gears, beams and guiding elements make it possible to observe how the drive is transferred between the individual parts of the construction while it is operating.

Control and programming via an app

The plotter can be operated using the MOULD KING app on a smartphone. The user can prepare a drawing task and start the automatic movement of the mechanism according to the entered programme. This solution combines model building, the basics of programming and creative play, offering the possibility of producing various graphics on paper.
