MOULD KING 13112S is an extensive construction set that allows you to build a remote-controlled tracked excavator. The yellow-and-black colour scheme, operator cab, robust undercarriage and functional boom make the finished model resemble a full-size construction machine. Assembly lets you discover how the gearbox, tracked drive and moving mechanisms work.

Large model with dimensions of 47.5 × 19 × 25.5 cm

Once assembled, the excavator measures 47.5 cm in length, 19 cm in width and 25.5 cm in height in the position shown in the product graphic. The substantial body, wide tracks and numerous technical details mean the model looks great both in operation and on a collector’s shelf.

Remote-controlled tracked drive

The moving tracks allow the model to drive forwards, reverse and change direction. Control via the included remote lets you perform manoeuvres typical of machines working on construction sites. The undercarriage design also offers an attractive view of the exposed gears, drive wheels and suspension elements.

360-degree superstructure rotation

The upper part of the excavator can rotate around the undercarriage through 360 degrees. This remotely operated function allows the arm to be pointed in any chosen direction without moving the whole machine. It helps recreate scenes of material handling, loading and working in confined spaces.

Movable boom and controlled bucket

The arm mechanism uses moving actuators, gears and drive elements. It enables the boom to be raised and lowered, the forearm position to be adjusted and the large bucket to be controlled. The multi-axis range of movement helps recreate scooping, lifting, transporting and dumping light items.

Six motors operating the excavator’s functions

The model uses six motors: one XL motor, one L motor and four M motors. They are responsible for moving the tracks, rotating the superstructure and operating the arm and bucket. Power supplied by a rechargeable battery means that once assembly is complete, the model can be used as a remote-controlled vehicle.
