The Extralink AI-9 is an innovative solution in the fiber optic welding machine market. Extralink AI-9 uses the technique of positioning the fibers to the core (positioning to the jacket is possible) ensuring the best attenuation performance of the splices made. The fibers are positioned using 6 high-end motors (Siemens), which is absolutely unprecedented in equipment of this price range. The device can be used both for 100 km fiber optic trunk lines, FTTH installations, as well as short point-to-point connections or LAN or video surveillance installations based on fiber optic cabling. The AI-9 model is based on a 4-core processor, which ensures fast response time (the welder is ready to work after 3 seconds) and short welding and weld shielding times. The presented welder is one of the fastest devices of this type currently available on the market, and in its price class it is definitely the fastest.

Comfortable operation in difficult lighting conditions

The 5.1-inch display with a resolution of 800×480 px and adjustable brightness ensures comfortable operation even in difficult lighting conditions. The optical system offers 300x magnification of the image, which directly affects the quality of the welding process and visual analysis of the welds made (viewing in two planes). The minimum welding time is 6 seconds, and the welding time for 40 mm covers is only 15 seconds. The LED light built into the welder makes it possible to perform welds and work with fibers even in total darkness.

Universal fiber holders

Universal fiber holders provide comfort and speed, and can accommodate 250 μm, 900 μm fibers in a tight or loose tube, as well as patchcord and/or DROP cables. The welder offers various welding programs, including a convenient Auto mode that works well in most situations.

Robust and practical welding kit

The welder's case is made of metal, its underside is covered with protective rubber, while the covers of the welding chamber and furnace are made of high-quality plastic. The offered set includes a practical box containing, in addition to the welder, all the necessary tools, power supply, as well as accessories, which are located in a two-level drawer set on sturdy metal guides.
