Teltonika RFID 1-Wire Reader
One of the implemented features for fleet management devices is 1-Wire data protocol, which can be used to read RFID tags by emulating them using iButton protocols. This is a convenient way to implement driver authentication in vehicles if you want to use RFID tags with minimal configuration complexity.
RFID 1-Wire readers work perfectly in such cases
- Immobilizer - preventing anyone from starting the vehicle without first scanning the iButton.
- Authorized Driving - tracking who is driving the vehicle based on the iButton ID they use to authenticate themselves.
- AutoGeofencing - lets you know when a car leaves certain areas without iButton authorization.
