LTE router with Wi-Fi 6 for demanding installations

MikroTik wAP ax LTE7 kit combines an LTE CAT7 modem, dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and two Gigabit Ethernet ports. It works well at home, in the office and in places where standard network infrastructure is difficult to access. The IP66 enclosure protects the device when installed on an external wall or roof. RouterOS v7 provides a ready-made environment for network management.

LTE CAT7 and broad band support

The built-in category 7 LTE modem supports download speeds of up to 300 Mb/s and upload speeds of up to 100 Mb/s. Aggregation of two LTE bands increases connection efficiency in congested networks. The device supports, among others, band 28 at 700 MHz and band 32 at 1500 MHz. The Micro SIM card is inserted into the dedicated slot.

Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 with 2x2 antennas

The Wi-Fi 6 radio operates in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, and two 2x2 MIMO radio chains support coverage at home, on the property or in a business premises. Maximum transmission speed is 574 Mb/s in the 2.4 GHz band and 1200 Mb/s in the 5 GHz band. Antenna gain is 6.9 dBi and 7 dBi respectively.

IP66 enclosure and discreet installation

The reinforced IP66 enclosure is designed for installation in demanding environments. The design allows mounting to an external wall or roof from inside the enclosure. The anti-vandal screw is located behind the MikroTik logo. The rear recess indicates where to make the cable entry, which makes discreet wall mounting easier.

RouterOS v7 and flexible power supply

A dual-core 800 MHz ARM processor, 256 MB of RAM and RouterOS v7 create a platform for managing the connection and wireless network. CAPsMAN allows central management of multiple devices. The router can be powered via PoE-IN 802.3af/at or the DC socket. The set includes a 24 V 0.8 A power supply and a gigabit PoE injector.
