Precise locating

Extralink GP-Pointer SA-980 is a handheld metal detector designed to locate small objects hidden in soil, sand or grass. The slim probe helps narrow down the search area after a find has already been detected with a larger detector.

12 kHz frequency

The 12 kHz operating frequency makes it possible to detect metal coins, jewellery, equipment components and other small objects. The device signals a find with sound and pulsating vibrations, which also makes it easier to work in noisy surroundings.

IP66 protection

The housing meeting IP66 requirements protects the device against dust and strong water jets. As a result, the detector can be used during searches on damp ground, on the beach and in varied terrain conditions.

Automatic tuning

Automatic tuning reduces the number of steps needed before starting work. Operation via the switch means the device can be used by both beginners and more experienced users.

Convenient design

The ABS body is 230 mm long, so it fits comfortably in the hand and allows you to check small recesses. The orange colour increases the device's visibility on grass, sand and dark ground.

Carrying accessories

The set includes a holster and a lanyard with a carabiner. The accessories allow the detector to be attached to a belt or equipment and help protect it from being accidentally lost while moving around in the field.
