HERO optical sensor

HERO is a revolutionary new optical sensor designed by Logitech G that delivers class-leading performance and up to 10 times the power efficiency (compared to the previous generation).
The sensor delivers exceptionally accurate and consistent performance without smoothing, filtering or acceleration
from 200 to 12,000 DPI. The G305 can store up to 5 profiles with up to 5 DPI levels each in onboard memory.

Extended battery life and ultra-lightweight device

The battery life is up to 250 hours on a single AA battery. In Endurance mode, which can be selected via the Logitech G HUB, the battery can last for up to 9 months of typical use. The mouse will let you know when 15% of the battery remains. A wireless gaming mouse doesn't have to be heavy. The G305 is very light, weighing just 99 grams, made possible by its lightweight mechanical design and highly efficient battery life.

Buttons you can program yourself

The left and right mouse buttons have a durability of up to 10 million clicks. The G305 also has a middle click, a DPI button, and two side buttons that can be programmed to your preference using the Logitech G HUB.
