Managed Layer 3 switch for a high-performance network
Ubiquiti UniFi Switch Pro Max 16 is a managed Layer 3 switch with 16 RJ45 ports and 2 SFP+ slots. It offers 12 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 4 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, enabling connections to network devices as well as fast 10 Gb/s uplinks. The switch is ideal for environments requiring advanced traffic management.
Ports and connection visualisation
The switch has 12 Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports 10/100/1000 Mb/s, 4 2.5G Ethernet ports 1/2.5 Gb/s and 2 SFP+ 10 Gb/s slots. Etherlighting technology illuminates the ports, making it easier to locate connections and check speed, link status and native VLAN. This information is also available for SFP+ ports.
Management and monitoring
The USW-Pro-Max-16 is managed and configured through UniFi Network version 8.1.127 or later, with support for UniFi mobile apps. The unified interface allows you to manage devices, map networks and control traffic. The 1.3-inch touch LCM display shows connection status and supports monitoring and quick diagnostics.
Layer 2 and Layer 3 features
The switch supports, among other things, IGMP snooping, LACP port aggregation, port mirroring, storm control, Jumbo frames, flow control, loop protection and ACLs. Layer 3 features include a DHCP server, DHCP relay, inter-VLAN routing and static routing. 802.1X authentication and QoS are also available.
Quiet design and flexible installation
The fanless cooling system reduces operating noise. The SGCC steel enclosure measures 325.1 x 160 x 43.7 mm and has a 1U form factor. The device can be used on a desk or mounted on a wall; installation in a 19-inch rack requires the UACC-Pro-Max-16-RM bracket, available separately. A 5 V, 25 W power adapter is included.
