MikroTik RouterBoard NetBox 5 (RB911G-5HPacD-NB) is a two-chain client device for outdoor applications, equipped with RP-SMA connectors for antennas and cable shielding for protection against humidity. This device supports the new 802.11ac standard for increased wireless transmission speed (866Mbit data rate and 20/40/80MHz channels). NetBox 5 works as AP / CPE / Point-to-Point to fully utilize the potential of wireless 2x2 MIMO 802.11ac networks. The processor that was used in NetBox 5 is CPU QCA9557 720MHz with 128MB RAM.

The casing can be opened with one hand and is protected from the weather. The Ethernet and ground outputs are located at the bottom, behind the cover.

Compatible with older devices

The kit includes a mounting ring for pole/mast mounting and a separate DIN rail mounting. The package also includes PoE injector and 24 V, 0.8 A power supply... The new products are backwards compatible - for example, you can replace the older Access Point 5GHz 802.11a/n with a new 802.11ac and existing customers will still be able to connect to it.
