This device is designed with real-world conditions in mind - it operates stably even in urban areas with high levels of interference, while maintaining high throughput in the 5 GHz band. The SXTsq 5 ax is the first outdoor CPE to support the Wi-Fi 6 standard, giving a noticeable jump in performance. The 16 dBi gain accelerates the point-to-point connection up to 10 km, maintaining good sensitivity even with weaker signals.

Powerful antenna and 16 dBi gain

The integrated 16 dBi antenna allows for effective connections of up to 3 km in urban conditions and up to 10 km in a straight line. The 2x2 MIMO antenna operates at 802.11a/n/ac/ax in the 5 GHz band, providing speeds of up to 1200 Mbit/s. This CPE device will work well both as a signal receiver and as a transmitting point.

Wi-Fi 6 in the outdoor edition

The SXTsq 5 ax is Mikrotik's first outdoor CPE with Wi-Fi 6, which means higher performance with more devices and lower latency. Thanks to the QCN-6102 chipset, the device ensures stability even in interference conditions. The new generation of the wireless radio standard increases range, bandwidth efficiency and real speed.

PoE power supply and low consumption

The Mikrotik SXTsq 5 ax is powered by passive PoE (12-28V), which greatly simplifies outdoor installation - all you need is a single LAN cable with power. The device consumes a maximum of 6 watts, making it energy efficient and easy to integrate into existing infrastructure. A 24-volt power supply and PoE injector are included, so you don't have to look for additional components.

Gigabit port and RouterOS v7

There is a 1x gigabit ethernet port on board to take full advantage of the radio link. RouterOS v7 with a level 4 license allows flexible configuration - whether as a client, bridge, access point or point-to-point device . This is application-specific hardware, with customizable settings to meet network requirements.
