Recordings even after dark

Extralink Lifestyle Dash Cam helps document the course of a journey both during the day and after dark. The lens with a 1/3-inch CMOS sensor and F2.8 aperture makes it possible to record images even in lower light. The camera can therefore accompany the driver during night-time trips through the city and journeys in changing weather conditions.

HD resolution image

The camera records videos in HD resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels, allowing situations unfolding in front of the car to be captured. The footage can help reconstruct the route or a road incident. The compact design means the device takes up little space on the windscreen and does not distract the driver from the road.

Wide 170° viewing angle

The wide-angle lens with a 170° field of view covers a broad area in front of the vehicle, including up to three lanes of traffic. This helps capture not only the road directly ahead of the bonnet, but also events taking place to the sides. Such a field of view is useful when driving on multi-lane roads, fast roads and winding sections.

Driving support

ADAS functions help the driver stay more attentive during the journey. The LDWS system warns of unintended lane departure, while FVDW informs you when the vehicle in front moves off after previously stopping. These solutions provide additional support, especially when driving on the motorway, waiting at traffic lights or standing in a traffic jam.

Protection of important recordings

Loop recording enables the camera to operate continuously by replacing the oldest unprotected files with new footage. The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impact and automatically protects the associated recording from being overwritten. Motion detection and recording activation after detecting a shock can also help document an incident while parked.

Simple USB connection

The 2.3 m USB cable makes it easy to route power inside the car, and vertical adjustment helps aim the lens at the road. The camera is powered via a 5 V USB port and works with car stereos based on the Android system. The app stored in the device memory allows the camera functions to be operated directly from the stereo screen.
