VPN support

The TL-R600VPN router supports VPN transmission using IPsec and PPTP protocols and IPsec/PPTP/L2TP pass-through connections. The device has also been equipped with hardware-based VPN support to maintain and manage up to 20 IPsec LAN-to-LAN connections, 16 VPN PPTP connections and 16 VPN L2TP connections. Advanced VPN features include DES/3DES/AES128/AES192/AES256 encryption, MD5/SHA1 authentication, IKE or manual key management and two connection negotiation modes, Main and Aggressive.

A secure network

To provide protection against external threats, the TL-R600VPN router is equipped with SPI firewall function. In addition, it automatically detects DoS (Denial of Service) attacks, such as TCP/UDP/ICMP Flooding, Ping of Death and other such threats. The device has a IP/MAC/Domain filtering function, which protects against attacks or viruses. However, for applications that are not fully compatible with NAT, such as FTP, TFTP, H.323 and RSTP, TL-R600VPN, it guarantees an easy launch of algorithms ensuring that the above applications can be used with one click.
