Wireless access point in the N standard

TP-Link TL-WA801N is a wireless access point supporting the N standard, with speeds up to 300Mbps. The Access Point supports multiple modes of operation, such as an Access Point, Range Amplifier, and Wireless Bridge. In addition, the device has PoE power supply, which makes mounting the device very convenient, and is equipped with a WPS button allowing simple establishment of a secure connection using WPA encryption.

Designed to expand high-speed networks

The TL-WA801N Wireless Access Point is designed to create or expand a high-speed, scalable wireless network based on the N technology. In addition, it allows you to connect your wireless network devices such as game consoles, digital media adapters, printers or network drives. The Access Point has many different functions, which make the use of network resources much easier. Using the Internet for downloading files, playing games, streaming videos or other applications is now much more convenient.

High speed and wide range

Using the IEEE 802.11n standard, the access point supports MIMO (Multi Input Multi Output) technology enabling simultaneous use of two antennas for transmitting and receiving data. This reduces the signal loss resulting from long-distance data transmission or physical obstacles that the transmitted signal encounters. Thanks to this solution, wireless network efficiency is much higher, even in buildings of concrete or steel construction. In addition, in contrast to the solutions of the 11g standard, it is possible to create a long-distance connection to the wireless network.

Wide range of operating modes

The TL-WA801NAccess Point has several modes of operation: Access Point, Client, Multi-SSID, Repeater and Bridge with Access Point, making it suitable for a wide range of wireless data transmission applications. It allows to setup wireless network easily in places where it is not possible to lay structured cabling. The use of Access Point eliminates the dead zones where previously the wireless transmission signal did not reach.

Easy to use with PoE power supply

With the included passive PoE injector, the TL-WA801N uses a single network cable to transmit data and power the device simultaneously. This allows the access point to be placed up to 30 meters away from the Ethernet network. This allows the access point to be placed in a location with the best signal transmission quality (e.g. on the wall or ceiling). Moreover, the device has a WPS button allowing to establish instant encrypted connection.
