Large AMOLED display for easy information reading

Xiaomi Redmi Watch 6 has been equipped with a square AMOLED display with a diagonal of 2.07 inches, a resolution of 432 × 514 pixels and a density of 324 ppi. The 60 Hz refresh rate contributes to smooth menu scrolling, widget operation and browsing notifications. Slim, symmetrical bezels measuring 2 mm wide made it possible to achieve a screen-to-body ratio of 82%. HBM brightness is 1500 nits, while peak brightness can reach 2000 nits in a specific area of the display, which helps when using the watch outdoors.

Slim design with an aluminium frame

The watch case is about 9.94 mm thick, and its weight without the strap is about 31 g, so the device sits comfortably on the wrist during work, rest and physical activity. The aluminium frame combines lightness with the durability needed for everyday use. The rotating stainless steel crown and additional button make it easy to navigate the menu, open the control centre and use shortcuts. The user can also choose from many watch faces, enable Always-On Display mode and quickly replace the strap thanks to a one-press release mechanism.

Built-in GNSS for recording outdoor activities

Xiaomi Redmi Watch 6 supports five satellite positioning systems: GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou and QZSS. The dual-L1 antenna design allows the watch to choose the antenna receiving the stronger signal depending on how the device is worn. The built-in GNSS enables route recording during running, cycling, hiking and other outdoor activities without the need to use the phone's location module. The saved data can then be analysed in the Mi Fitness app.

5 ATM water resistance

The 5 ATM water resistance rating allows the watch to be used while swimming in a pool and during many activities in which the device may come into contact with moisture. The smartwatch can also accompany the user during workouts carried out in changing weather conditions. However, the manufacturer indicates that the watch is not intended for diving, sauna use, hot showers or contact with high-speed water jets. Water resistance is not a permanent feature and may decrease over time.

Over 150 sports modes

Redmi Watch 6 offers over 150 sports modes, helping to record both popular workouts and less typical forms of exercise. During running, cycling, hiking and other exercises, the watch can monitor, among other things, activity time, heart rate and energy expenditure. The sensors and algorithms used also support heart rate measurement while swimming. The collected information makes it easier to track training regularity, compare successive sessions and better understand the body's response to exertion.

Up to 24 days of use and Bluetooth calls

The 550 mAh battery allows the watch to run for up to 24 days with light use, up to 12 days in a typical scenario and up to 7 days with intensive use of its functions. Actual battery life depends, among other things, on display settings, measurement frequency, the number of notifications, calls and workouts with active GNSS. The built-in microphone and speaker enable Bluetooth calls after connecting the smartwatch to a smartphone. The watch also displays notifications, reminders and alarms, and the linear motor offers over 20 vibration patterns to help distinguish individual messages.

Health, sleep and daily wellbeing monitoring

Xiaomi Redmi Watch 6 helps monitor heart rate, blood oxygen level, stress and sleep patterns throughout the day and night. The device also offers alerts for unusual heart rate or low oxygen level, breathing exercises and functions supporting menstrual cycle tracking.
