The TL-SG105PE is a 5-port Easy Smart Gigabit Switch with 4 PoE+ ports, the device is a powerful upgrade from unmanaged switches. The switch is specifically designed for small businesses that require simple network management and PoE power features. The TL-SG105PE can power up to four PoE devices such as wireless access points (APs), IP cameras and IP phones. Through a web-based user interface and management tool, the device offers a number of useful features including network monitoring, traffic prioritization and QoS.

Power over Ethernet

4 of the 5 auto-negotiation RJ45 ports on the TL-SG105PE switch support Power over Ethernet (PoE) functions. These PoE ports can automatically detect and deliver power through IEEE 802.3af/at compliant powered devices.

Extensive functionality confirmed by stability of operation

The TL-SG105PE switch has a priority function that helps protect the system in case of power overload. If the power consumption of all PoE devices is >=65W, the priority will be set between PoE ports, and then the system will cut off power to the lowest priority ports.

Effective management

The TL-SG105PE offers users network monitoring to observe traffic behavior. Through its web-based user interface and management utility, the TL-SG105PE offers a number of useful features including network monitoring, traffic prioritization and QoS. With Port Mirroring, Loop Prevention and Cable Diagnostics, the TL-SG105PE can identify and even locate connectivity issues on the corporate network. In addition, administrators can prioritize traffic based on ports.

Easy to use

The TL-SG105PE is easy to use and manage. Automatic MDI / MDI-X crossover on all ports eliminates the need for crossover cables or uplink ports. Auto-negotiation on each port detects the link speed of the network device (10, 100 or 1000 Mbps) and intelligently adjusts for compatibility and optimal performance.
