24 port Smart switch

TP-Link TL-SG2424 is a network switch equipped with 24 Gigabit RJ45 ports providing full data transfer speed, and 4 SFP combo slots. In addition, the switch has extensive network traffic security features, including support for VLAN 802.1Q, Port Security and Storm control to effectively protect the local network. The switch is managed from the command line and via a web browser, SNMP and RMON support allows convenient management of the device.

Quality of Service function

In order to enable simultaneous smooth transmission of data, voice and video, the switch is equipped with extended QoS functions. In order to ensure smooth data transmission, the administrator can set data transmission priorities based on port priority, 802.1P and DSCP protocols.

Second layer functions

To increase the number of possible applications, TL-SG2424 switches are equipped with a number of second layer traffic management functions, including 802.1Q VLAN support, port isolation, port mirroring, STP/RSTP/MSTP, port aggregation and 802.3x flow control. In addition, the device is equipped with numerous maintenance functions, such as loop back connection detection, cable diagnostics and IGMP snooping. IGMP snooping allows for intelligent multicast streaming to specific subscribers only, and IGMP throttling and IGMP filtering effectively limits access to multicast for unauthorized users.

Extensive management

The TL-SG2424 Switch is an easy and intuitive device to use and manage. It offers many user-friendly management options, such as an intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI) operated via a web browser and Command Line Interface (CLI). Support for SNMP (v1/2/3) and RMON protocols provides the ability to send out unforeseen event messages and monitor device status.
