This model combines PoE power , 2.5/10/25 GbE ports, Layer 3 support, and Etherlighting™technology that allows you to quickly identify the status of ports with light signaling

PoE power supply - maximum power on each port

The switch offers 24 RJ45 (Registered Jack 45) Ethernet ports , each of which supports PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology , delivering up to 90 watts of power per port. This means you can power devices such as WiFi 6E access points, PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom - with pan and zoom) cameras or IP phones, without the need for external power supplies. The total available power is up to 2250 watts in split mode, allowing you to power your entire infrastructure from a single device.

Ethernet ports with high throughput

The Ubiquiti ECS-24-PoE model is equipped with 8 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports and 16 10 GbE RJ45 ports for high-speed communication between end devices and servers. In addition, you'll find 2 SFP28 (Small Form-factor Pluggable 28 - 25G fiber connector) ports, which offer speeds of up to 25 Gbps and allow you to connect the switch to your network backbone. Total switching capacity is 460 Gbps, and Etherlighting™technology makes it easy to identify active ports, detect errors and diagnose without logging into the system.

Layer 3 - intelligent network traffic management

This model supports advanced Layer 3 (the third layer of the OSI model) features, such as DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol - a protocol for dynamically assigning IP addresses), routing between VLANs and static routes. This allows you to effectively manage traffic between subnets, ensuring optimal performance and data isolation across segments. An extensive IPv4 routing table (up to 256,000 entries) allows you to create complex routing structures without additional equipment.

Security and reliability of power supply

The device has two hot-swappable (hot-swappable) power modules and four fans that can be replaced without interrupting the switch's operation. The redundant mode provides constant power even if one of the modules fails - the power availability is then 1050 W. The 1U chassis (rack height unit) fits standard server rooms, and its depth (496 mm) is between 650-1000 mm
