Configuration assistant

The Series of Zyxel GS1900 Switches has an interface for configuration and management via a web browser. This allows you to quickly and comfortably configure the network in four steps: initial settings, VLAN, Guest VLAN and QoS.

Energy saving

Switches series GS1900 have been equipped with technological solutions that will contribute to reduce the amount of energy consumed:

• Low link activity detection in 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) - low network traffic is detected so that switch can adjust the power consumption of the link. The 802.3az function can be easily adjusted with a switch on the housing.
• Detection of inactive connections - detection of inactive connections or devices will reduce power consumption.
• Detection of wire length - this function, based on the distance detected from the connected device, will adjust the power consumption accordingly, reducing it for nearby connections.
• No fans - quiet operation is ensured by a design without active cooling, which makes GS1900 switches suitable for small rooms.
