The voltage shape is economical at the UPS output and has a very quiet operation during battery mode, which ensures the versatility of this device to a wide range of switching power supplies (passive PFC) . In case of interruption of the supply voltage, it can immediately supply the energy stored in the batteries without any interruption. Switchover time to battery operation and vice versa is typically carried out within 2 to 6 ms.
