FiberPoE provides fiber optic connectivity to any PoE device.
FiberPoE has an external, weatherproof enclosure with integrated load management.
FiberPoE allows for separation of power supply from standard Ethernet cables or a standard block of power terminals/cables. There are three ways to configure input and output power.
The use of fibre optic cable for data transmission significantly reduces failures from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and electromagnetic interference (EMI). Data integrity is also maintained for transmissions above 100 meters, which is a limitation for Ethernet networks via twisted-pair. FiberPoE Gen 2 supports 1G SFP and power supply 24 V or 50 V from a DC or PoE cable.

1. Attach the optical SFP module to the SFP port.
2. Remove the cover from the optical cable and connect the optical fiber to the SFP module.
3. Roll the optical fiber around the wheel counter-clockwise.
4. Continue until the cable has made at least 1½ turns. Secure the cable in the clamp.
5. Attach the other end of the optical cable to another optical device.
