Dreame Cordless Vacuum Cleaner XR

Another cordless upright vacuum cleaner that made it into our tests is Dreame Cordless Vacuum Cleaner XR. As we wrote earlier, Dreame is a subsidiary of Xiaomi, so we can expect high quality products. And lately we've been noticing the company more and more on the market Dreame as a manufacturer of good cleaning equipment.
The Cordless Vacuum Cleaner XR model: VNN4 is a very simple model, equipped with multiple nozzles, thanks to which you can reach almost every nook and cranny, and cleaning your home, car or other places where it was impossible to reach with other equipment will become easy and pleasant. The device is also characterized by the color of metallic purple and white, weight: 1.5 kg, the capacity of the container 0.5l not differing significantly from the classics on the market in this type of vacuum cleaners, suction power 145AW, and rated power 450W and manual operation of changing modes (without LCD touch screen). The vacuum cleaner generates noise at a level of about 67 dB.

Cyclone method of separation of dust and other contaminants and the use of a HEPA filter with a simple way of cleaning the container, as well as a battery with a capacity of 2500mAh, which according to the manufacturer will provide 60 minutes of work (ECO mode), makes use a pleasure. Charging time included in the material supplied with the device is about 4 hours.

ECO - the lowest power and suction power, selecting this mode will work for no longer than 60 minutes
STANDARD - medium power and suction power, in this mode you will work about 20-30 minutes (due to the increase in suction power working time will be shorter)
TURBO - is the strongest power and highest mode of this vacuum cleaner, which also translates into time and energy consumption, the battery will allow us unfortunately only to and here with a strong emphasis on up to 10 minutes (an average of 7-8min) of work at these settings.

The manufacturer has protected the equipment very well in the packaging. In separate cardboard boxes we will find each component of the device packed in plastic bags along with the user manual and information/safety card.

Elements of the vacuum cleaner connect with each other in a very easy way to so-called ''click'' that is, take the nozzle of interest to us and connect with the main nozzle until you hear the characteristic click.

The cyclone filter can be easily removed from the container and cleaned with the push of a button.

What should we pay attention to before using the device for the first time?

The first rule is to read the instruction manual included in the kit and familiarize yourself with it so that the use of the vacuum cleaner does not pose a danger.
The second cardinal rule is to charge the battery to full, so the main nozzle is connected to the charger using the power supply from the kit (the nozzle while charging must always be off) and charge to 100%.
Thirdly, we use each tip according to its purpose.
And fourth , we keep away from wet surfaces, spilled hazardous liquids such as flammable and chemical, glass and large items that can block the nozzle or tube. Vacuum cleaner turn on the button on the handle, release it and the device turns off.

When charging the next time, remember to leave the battery heated up after work to cool down for about 30 minutes and only then connect the device for charging. Also, under no circumstances should you use the vacuum cleaner while it is charging.

In order to achieve a reasonably reliable test, we set up a test area in exactly the same place as for other handheld cordless vacuum cleaners, choosing the most common type of surface: panels.

Test 1. We apply 50 grams of dried ground coffee to the test field, this will be the first test for the vacuum cleaner.

The vacuum cleaner picked up 46.50 grams from the 50 grams spilled. It should be added that the brush used and dedicated to flat surfaces only picks up dirt in one direction forward, so we have to remember to return to the back in the same line as we moved forward, or simply lift the vacuum up, otherwise we will pick up dirt on the way back.

Test 2. Here we apply 20 grams of flour to the test field to see how the device will handle this dust granularity, which mimics everyday dust very well.

The vacuum cleaner collected 18.09 grams of flour from the 20 grams spilled.

Cleaning the individual parts was not a big problem, except for the gasket in the closing lid. It is divided into two parts and dirt that gets there is very hard to remove.
During the tests we noticed that the working times predicted by the manufacturer for individual modes are slightly or almost no different from those given in the description.

In addition, we couldn't help but test the carpet with a specially dedicated brush. This is also attached in the form of a video. The test came out superbly, the vacuum did a great job and in addition, thanks to the roller made of rubber coating nothing stuck, which significantly shortened the cleaning process.

To sum up, the Cordless Vacuum Cleaner XR did a very good job of removing dirt of various weights from the surface of the panels, taking into account the parameters should fully perform on a daily basis in small and medium-sized apartments.
