Extralink pigtail with SC/UPC connector is made on G.657.A1 single-mode fiber, which is dedicated for FTTx technology. This fiber is characterized by a reduced bending radius without an increase in attenuation. This is a very important feature in the construction of FTTx networks, due to the large number of changes in the direction of the optical line and small-sized cabinets and distribution boxes. Pigtail is mainly used for termination of customer cables in customer outlets and the final distribution element.
