Patchcord (the connection cable) single-mode with a length of 10 meters, a cable diameter of 3 mm, terminated with SC/UPC-SC/APC connectors, is used for the network connection of optical equipment such as switches or converters. Patchcords are also widely used in FTTH networks to connect OLT and ONU/ONT type devices. The presented cables have material classification LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen). This means that their sheath made of thermoplastic and thermosetting does not emit halogen and under the influence of high temperatures emits a limited amount of smoke.
