4G edge router for industrial applications

Teltonika RUTC40 Global 4G Edge is a router designed for communication and local data processing in industrial installations, automation systems, energy, retail and smart city solutions. The Telit modem supports 4G LTE Cat 4 connectivity with download speeds of up to 150 Mb/s and upload speeds of up to 50 Mb/s, as well as 3G and 2G networks. Two Mini SIM slots and a consumer eSIM with the option to save up to seven profiles make it easy to use services from different operators. Automatic connection switching can react, among other things, to a weak signal, no network, reaching the data limit or a failed transmission.

Data processing and Docker container support

A dual-core MediaTek ARM Cortex-A53 processor with a frequency of 1.3 GHz, 1 GB of DDR4 RAM and 8 GB of eMMC memory enable services to run directly on the router. Docker container support allows you to deploy your own applications, microservices and software environments without the need to direct all operations to external infrastructure. This solution helps reduce latency and the amount of data transmitted. The router runs on the RutOS system, offering, among other things, dynamic routing, automatic link switching, load balancing, VLAN networks and advanced VPN protocols.

Wi-Fi 6, five Gigabit Ethernet ports and remote management

Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 with MU-MIMO technology offers transmission of up to 2402 Mb/s in the 5 GHz band and up to 576 Mb/s in the 2.4 GHz band. Four gigabit LAN ports and one gigabit WAN port allow you to connect computers, controllers, cameras, recorders and other infrastructure components. RUTC40 supports the Teltonika RMS remote management system, WebUI interface, FOTA, SNMP, MQTT and cloud solutions. The router is also equipped with GNSS, a USB 2.0 port, a digital input and output, and an aluminium housing designed to operate in temperatures from -40°C to 65°C.
