TELTONIKA RUTM31 – compact 5G industrial router with Dual SIM

TELTONIKA RUTM31 is a compact, multi-network industrial router designed for applications requiring intensive data transmission. The device supports 5G Sub-6 GHz in SA and NSA architectures, and in locations without access to a 5G network it can use 4G LTE Cat 12. Two Mini SIM slots and an automatic card switching function help reduce network access interruptions caused, among other things, by weak signal, roaming, no connection or exceeding a set data limit. The router can be used in remote monitoring systems, power infrastructure and digital signage installations.

Gigabit Ethernet, dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and antenna connectors

The router offers one WAN port and one LAN port, operating at speeds of 10/100/1000 Mb/s. Dual-band Wi-Fi 5 in the IEEE 802.11ac standard supports MU-MIMO and data transmission speeds of up to 867 Mb/s. Four SMA connectors are intended for cellular antennas, while two RP-SMA connectors are used to connect Wi-Fi antennas. The automatic failover function allows mobile, wired or Wi-Fi connections to be used as a backup link, helping to maintain network access during a failure of the primary connection.

RutOS, remote RMS management and aluminium housing

TELTONIKA RUTM31 runs on the RutOS system based on OpenWrt and works with the Teltonika Remote Management System platform. RMS enables remote monitoring, configuration, diagnostics and updating of devices deployed in different locations. The router supports, among others, OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard, ZeroTier, MQTT, SNMP and Modbus TCP. The anodised aluminium housing measures 100 × 30 × 93.7 mm, weighs 319 g and offers an IP30 protection rating. The device can operate in temperatures from -40°C to 75°C, and optional brackets allow mounting on a DIN rail, wall or flat surface.
