Extralink Smart Life S10 – easy connection of two screens

Extralink Smart Life S10 is a portable dual-monitor set that allows you to expand your workstation with additional working space. The device offers two USB-C ports and a mini HDMI connector, and each interface supports images at a resolution of 1920 × 1080 at a refresh rate of 60 Hz. This configuration makes it possible to match the connection method to the ports available on the laptop. The model’s power supply parameters are 5 V/3 A, the input power consumption is 15 W, while in standby mode the device consumes no more than 4.5 W. The set includes two USB-C to USB-C cables, a mini HDMI cable, a carry bag and an instruction manual.

Mobile set for working with a laptop

The Extralink Smart Life S10 design has been created with workstations in mind that are regularly moved or folded away after work. The device measures 389 × 234 × 39.6 mm and weighs approximately 1.9 kg. The included carry bag helps store the set and carry it between home, the office or a meeting place. The retail box measures 455 × 315 × 120 mm and weighs approximately 3.3 kg. Two additional displays can therefore be taken along with the rest of the workstation equipment.

Support for Windows and macOS systems

Extralink Smart Life S10 works with computers running Windows and macOS. In the case of Apple computers, the compatibility limitation indicated for MacBooks with M1, M2 and M3 processors should be taken into account. Before connecting, it is also worth checking whether the USB-C port on the laptop in question supports video signal transmission. The availability of USB-C and mini HDMI allows you to choose a configuration that matches the computer’s connectors. The set can be used both at a fixed desk and when working away from the main workstation.

More working space for multiple applications

Two additional 15.6-inch monitors make it possible to arrange documents, spreadsheets, messengers and other applications on separate screens. This helps reduce the need to switch frequently between windows on a single laptop display. Source materials can be left on one monitor, work tools opened on the second, and the laptop screen used for the main task. This layout is useful when analysing data, preparing presentations, holding online meetings and working with several documents at the same time.

Two 15.6-inch Full HD IPS screens

Each of the two monitors uses an IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 60 Hz refresh rate. W-LED backlighting, a maximum brightness of 250 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 1000:1 determine the image parameters. The colour gamut is 45% NTSC, and the panel response time is 25 ms. Both screens can serve as additional space for displaying text, tables, websites, graphic materials and video. The S10 model does not have built-in speakers, so sound is handled by the laptop or a separate audio device.

Flexible monitor positioning

The movable screens can be set at an angle that suits the workstation layout and the user’s position. The stated viewing angles are 89° horizontally and 89° vertically at a CR ≥ 10 contrast ratio. This helps keep the content legible even when the monitors are not positioned directly in front of the user. The S10 model is designed to operate at temperatures from 5°C to 40°C and relative humidity from 10% to 70%. The adjustable design allows the side screens to be folded away after work, making the set ready for storage or transport.
