We present the new generation of Ethernet Surge Protector, model ETH-SP-G2, from Ubiquiti. It is a cost-effective solution to protect external Ethernet devices from electrostatic discharges and surges. Since all Ubiquiti® airMAX® devices already have a robust ESD protection built in, adding the ETH-SP-G2 to the installation provides an additional layer of protection.

Protection of PoE devices

ETH-SP-G2 has been designed to protect Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) devices or ordinary equipment without PoE power with a connection speed up to 1 Gb/s. Two passive, surge protected RJ45 connections ensure maximum hardware compatibility.

Ideal solution for CIS networks

All Ubiquiti airMAX devices are equipped with ESD protection. However, in order to protect external devices and meet certain requirements of local regulations, installation of ETH-SP-G2 is necessary.
