ZTE C300 - OLT GPON platform

ZTE C300 as an OLT system offers plenty of space for expansion cards to build a high-speed network based on fiber optic cables and GPON/EPON technology. It provides high performance operation that will work well for "triple-play" uses: VoIP, IPTV and CATV.

The ZTE C300 platform has been created in a way that makes it possible to expand the network in the future. 21 slots for installing expansion cards provide enormous possibilities in building networks. The main advantage of C300 is the unity of GPON/XGPON1 and P2P. Number of slots for additional modules significantly facilitates mass deployment of networks based on optical cables.

Expansion cards in the platform

The C300 unit has these cards installed:

  • Switch / Control: 2 x SCXN Card (supports 16 GPON cards, 4 x GE Uplink ports, 2 x management interfaces)
  • GPON: 1 x GTGH Card (16 x GPON Port, 1:128 split ratio)
  • Uplink: 2 x GUFQ Card (4 x SFP (GE) ports)
  • Other cards: 2 x PRWG power supply cards

Solid protection

The ZTE C300 platform has redundant protection to minimize the risk of damage and network outages. Due to the dual power board, it is possible to replace a worn out module during operation. Supported protection types are B/C for the PON link and RSTP/UAPS/ERPS/LACP for the return link.

The C300 platform has received European CoC and RoHS certifications and ensures low power consumption, and through its ability to be further expanded it will remain in service longer thus reducing costs and saving resources.
