MIKROTIK RB5009 S IN: The ultimate rugged home lab router

TheRB5009UG S IN is the perfect router for the home lab: compact, powerful, with multiple power options and efficient cooling. The RB5009 has all this and more!

There are 9 wired ports and a full-size USB 3.0 port on the board. Seven of the ports are Gigabit Ethernet, another is 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, and the last is a 10G SFP . All ports are connected to a high-performance Marvell Amethyst family switch with a 10Gbps full-duplex line leading to a 1.4GHz quad-core Marvell Armada ARMv8 processor. Both the processor and the switch are located on the bottom of the board - so the case acts as a powerful heat sink!

The boards are equipped with 1GB of DDR4 RAM and 1GB of NAND. This combination of ports and components, compared to our other products in a similar chassis, provides nearly double the performance in high CPU load configurations.

With a simple mounting accessory kit, up to four of these routers can be mounted in a single 1U rackmount chassis.
